POST 4: Tikitikiti

I love the Independence day holidays, because you can do things that usually you don't do it. For example you can dance cueca, eat empanadas and drink chicha.
In that time, I usually travel to my city so I can share with my family and friends. It is a great time to spend with your family and aparently everybody thinks so. The road is full and the trip becomes slow. Also, the supermarket usually sell everything and the people buy more than they need. Inclusive, some people get fat in the holidays because they eat so much during that days.
The good, is that you remember the tradition, for example drink "chicha in cacho", that is a chilean drink that is serve in a corn, and play with kites. Also all the people go to the fondas, that is a place where you can eat, drink and dance. The rhythm more common is the cueca, typical chilean dance.
My last Indepencence day holidays I went to vallenar, place where my grandparents live. My mom also was there, she travelled from Iquique. I really enjoyed because I don't see them in a lot of time. We ate meat, we danced and spent a good time.

POST 3: With the Pachamama

My last summer holidays I travelled, and Bolivia was my destiny.
I did'nt had much money so I decided find a place, near to my city, Iquique. And Bolivia is located to 10 hours aprox of Iquique. I went with a closed friend of my city called Jocelyn, she was my classmate in all my years in the schoool and now is a good friend.

We started our travel on La Paz, and then we went to Copacabana, that is an island located in the Titicaca lake. This island is very beautifull and the people is friendly and nice. A lots of turist walk in the streets and they make you feel in home.

Later, we went to Sun Island and Moon Island, those islands were mystic and all the thing that I lived there were great! I felt conected with the nature, with the lake and with my origins. This was a awesome experience because I could know a different culture and I shared with people from a lots of countries.

I advise you visit Bolivia because is cheap, near and you can learn about a culture that is so diferent to us.
